Hagley Hall Inheritance Tax Seminar

13 March 2026

On the afternoon of the 5th February, the stately surroundings of Hagley Hall in Stourbridge played host to a packed house for a specialist seminar on Inheritance Tax (IHT) and Estate Planning.

The event, which brought together local homeowners, retirees and business owners aimed to demystify the increasingly complex landscape of UK tax law.  Against the backdrop of the Hall’s historic Long Gallery, Advisers Dan Paton and Mike Round delivered a deep dive into IHT, which covered several critical pillars of wealth preservation, including IHT basics, strategic lifetime planning, Trust and estate planning, case studies and practical scenarios.

The feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive, with many guests noting that the complex subject matter was handled with both professionalism and a welcome touch of ‘plain English’.

“Information was pitched at just the right level without too much detail. The setting for the event was lovely”

“The presentation was great, relatable and informative”
